1.Afro Punk

To label Afro Punk a festival would be too narrow a term. Afro Punk is a celebration of rich black culture in every form, be it music, traditions and lest we forget, fashion. Living up to the celebratory spirit, the attendees turn up in some of the most breath taking ensembles that we have set our eyes on. The festival began in 2003 with a documentary highlighting black presence in the American society and has been going strong ever since. The community comes together every year to find solace in art, music and films. And fashion. It’s a stunning display of a group of people celebrating their ethnicity in the most glorious ways and by god, they are beautiful.
