In Pictures: UK's Picturesque Wilderness Festival!

The 6th edition of UK’s Wilderness festival saw people come out in amazing spirits and the most quirky outfits for three days of unadulterated joy!

In true UK festival fashion, the grounds are dotted not only with lakes and gorgeous trees, but also with festival-goers in elaborate fancy dress, amidst cricket games, gourmet food and theatrical performances. The festival saw some of the best arts, crafts, culture, learning, literature, rejuvenation and relaxation workshops held over the three day fiesta. People were dressed in their best and everyone was in their best of moods given the atmosphere the whole venue was giving out.

Featuring the first ever fire wire performance staged in the UK, the thrilling flame-fueled tightrope display continued the Wilderness tradition of pushing the boundaries of what you imagined possible at festivals. The music didn’t disappoint either. Acts by The Flaming Lips, Kate Nash, Robert Plant, Glass Animals, Crystal Fighters and Roy Ayers were just some of the names on the huge roster of artists!

The venue was serious festival-goals for probably being the most picturesque place to hold such an event!

The people were in their festive spirit embracing the beauty of the festival!

The acts were nothing short of spectacular!

Everything else at the festival was just a grand celebration!

There were people tight-rope walking on a rope on fire! Yikes!

There were cricket matches! Yes! Cricket!

And also the occasional streaker.

All in all, the Wilderness Festival saw some of the joyous, free-spirited and wacky people come together to celebrate among the woods and be united!
