Warning: This news may be devastating for some. Just when we thought the millionaire was out of the limelight, she decides to up her game by headlining for one of the worldβs largest music festivals.

The pop singer/millionaire/heiress/socialite and now DJ, will be gracing the stage with her new beats this summer at Sumemrfest 2015. A disturbing shock for some and a serendipitous surprise for others, the internet is going nuts with this information.

Held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Summerfest is one of the few festivals that has unwavering rock roots, instead of succumbing to the overpowering presence of EDM in pop culture. This explains why a lot of the people looking forward to the fest, sans Paris Hilton, are confused by the organizers’ selection of the headliner. We just heard of a Kanye-like petition being signed against the celebrity to stop her from performing at the fest. Thomas Neill, the person who initiated the petition, claims, “This is a middle finger to anyone who paid to go this festival. You claim to be one of the premier festivals in America and then you go ahead and hire someone like Paris Hilton.” Meanwhile, the celebrity herself is apparently stoked to be performing at the festival as seen on her twitter page, seemingly unaware of the near-1,500 signatures on the petition.
