A new organisation in the United States is hoping to bring new measures of harm reduction to music festival. Dubbed The Bunk Police, the group consists of five friends, and was founded by a man who goes by the pseudonym Adam Auctor. They took cameras, two cars, and whatever money they could pull together for a 12,000 mile journey across the country.

Over two months, they offered testing kits to guests at six different festivals and recorded the outcomes.Β What’s in My Baggie?Β is the result of their work, and aims to show the spread of drug misrepresentation and the benefits of the harm reduction movement.

Even though the kits are legally available to buy on Amazon, Auctor had to smuggle them into festivals as promoters believe the allowance of kits implies they are aware of illegal substances on-site.

Although a bit long, the film is a great educational tool for festival-goers, who indulge in illicit substance use, to absorb knowledge about what they’re actually spending their cash on.

Nonetheless, The Sherp does not encourage any kind of drug consumption by showcasing this documentary.
