Will Glastonbury be moving on from Pilton Farm? People are not going to like this.

Founder of Glastonbury, Michael Eavis has unexpectedly said that the famous British festival might be shifting locations next year, in a speech at Oxford Union, the debating society that hosted him.

Since its inception, the atmosphere of the festival has gone hand in hand with that of Worthy Farm, except ‘fallow years’, taken every five years, aimed to give the land, organizers and local people a break. But it’s always been Worthy Farm that has captured the jovial essence of Glasto.Β Something thatΒ may change next year!

Though he didn’t say exactly where the festival might be moving to, the founder hinted that the festival might be getting too big for its present and sometimes muddy location. He claims to have something special in store for next year’s edition since he ‘is getting old and just really wants to enjoy the festival now’. There has been no official confirmation from the Glastonbury organizers, who are managed by Emily Eavis, his own daughter .Β

Well no matter where the festival takes place, we are sure it’s going to be the same insane affair it is every year!
