One of the biggest festivals in the world, the Somerset festival is something people look forward to all year. This year the lineup features insane acts such as Muse, Adele, Coldplay, Beck and Skepta. The tickets sold out almost as soon as they were released this year and we are not surprised.

2. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Manchester, Tennessee

The festival has it all from one of the coolest musical lineups to hosting some of the best comedians such as Adam Devine and Judd Apatow. The 2016 lineup include musical acts such as Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem, Ellie Goulding and M83. Bonnaroo is usually favoured with some brilliant climate and you can safely know that this is the place you can have one Β of the best experiences of your life.

The British rock festival is back again for one more insane edition. Previously hosting acts such as Tool, Iron Maiden and Audioslave. The 2015 edition was one of the first in the world to use face recognition technology and other such hi-tech tools to enhance festival security. This year’s lineup has Megadeath, Disturbed, Deftones, Black Sabbath and Nightwish along with various other incredibly talented acts. Excited? Luckily, the tickets for the festival are still available so get yourself one before it is too late!

4. El Colacho, Spain

Also known as baby-jumping, this traditional Spanish holiday is considered one of the most dangerous festivals celebrated. Here, a man dressed in yellow and red clothes (to represent the devil) known as Colachos, jumps over babies under the age of one. This bizarre practice is supposed to Β ward off evil spirits that might be haunting the child. The babies are placed on mattresses, while the men perform the scary feats. So far, no severe injuries have been reported.

5. Electric Forest, Rothbury, Michigan

Electric Forest is a four day multi genre festival that focuses mainly on electronic genres. The event was initially known as Rothbury festival and was started up in 2008 but has grown in shape and reach since. The 2015 event drew at least 45,000 attendees and the number is expected to rise this year. This year’s lineup includes Major Lazer, Fetty Wap and Bonobo. Attendees have attributed the festival to be life changing and it’s feeling of community and warmth unparalleled by most.

6. Field Day,Β London Borough of Tower Hamlets

This English festival is known for it’s quality festival experience. The lineup includes James Blake, PJ Harvey and The Avalanches. It’s as good as English festivals get. Luckily, the London weather is kind at this time of the year which makes the festival even better. Expansive stage, amazing production and absolutely delicious food is what you should expect here. Also, it is known for it’s especially happy crowd. We really couldn’t ask for more.

7. EDC, Las Vegas

The EDM mega-fest is here and we cannot wait for it. With an insane line up announced, we are sure this year’s festival is going to so much more amazing than before. Everyone knows Las Vegas is where the party is at, even though the festival has many offshoots such as at places such as California, New Jersey, Puerto Rico. it has been dubbed as the ‘American Ibiza’ and if you are looking for an absolutely fantastic party that will leave dizzy for days, this is it.

8. Primavera Sound, Barcelona, Catalonia

The festival started up in 2001 and is now one of the biggest music festivals in the world. It’s known for giving impetus to all kinds of music talents and this year’s lineup is going to blow your mind. With giants such as Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Pixies, Arcade Fire Tame Impala and Daughter all ready to smash that stage, this festival is goals all the way. The 2015 edition hosted close to 190,000 people there.

9. Secret Solstice, Iceland

The Midnight Sun Festival, this is one place where the sun literally never goes down on the party. The festival is held in a super exotic location in Iceland with crazy parties in glaciers and one of the coolest lineups we have ever seen. The festival released a seriously crazy package sometimes back that includes flying to the location in a jet, your own private jet and many more exclusive offers that could be bought for a simple 1 million dollars. One thing is for sure, the festival is unforgettable.

10. Roskilde Festival, Denmark

Started up by two high school kids, this festival is now one of the biggest music festivals in the Europe. The 8 day festival sees almost 130,000 visitors and it’s only getting bigger. This year’s lineup includes PJ Harvey, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Tame Impala to name a few. Though mostly attracting Scandinavians it is now a bustling hub of tourists from all over Europe. Some of the biggest bands in the world have performed at the Orange Stage, which is the central stage of the festival.

11. The Governor’s Music Festival, NYC

The massive festival has a pretty insane lineup this year. Artists include Kanye West, The Killers, Beck and M83 along with an array of artists from various genres such as fold, pop, electronica and americana. Previous artists have included Passion Pit, Modest Mouse and Explosions in the Sky. The festival is considered on par with Coachella, in size and quality!
