This year’s Defqon.1 had more fireworks than the 4th of July.Β
Turns out hardstyle fans dig Queen just as much as you and I do. For those who are festival noobs, Defqon.1 is a three-day music fest dedicated to hardstyle music. This year’s edition was uber-successful and ended with a big bang – literally.
The company behind the lights and pyrotechnics of the fest, Q-Dance, organized a breathtaking fireworks show as the festival ended with Queen’s “We Are The Champions” playing in the background. Watch the video below, though, we must warn you, it’s pretty overwhelming. (We can only imagine what it must be like in person.)
The crowd at Defqon sang along with vigour and the festival ended on a happy albeit nostalgic note. We hope to see another crackling edition next year. Stay tuned for more festival news, folks.
