Looks like the rumours are true!
A few months ago The Sherp very stealthily stalked the ever-popular Ed Sheeran’s tour dates to find out his schedule had Mumbai marked for March 1, after which many a fan, couldn’t contain their excitement. Even though it wasn’t confirmed from Sheeran’s camp, we had a feeling this rumour would pan out.
And so here it is! Ed Sheeran will be performing in Mumbai, this March as a part of his ‘X’ world tour. The news was confirmed as the following flyer was uploaded by Fly Music Festival’s Facebook page , just a few minutes ago.
As of now all we know is that the festival will be taking place only in Mumbai at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, and that the Grammy nominated crooner will be performing at it. Details about other performers/artistes have yet to be revealed.
The popularity of Ed Sheeran’s form of popular yet acoustic-y sound has really picked up over the last year, with sold our arena’s and world tours to boot. He is as some would say a fantastic live performer and that most definitely adds to his appeal (apart from looking like Rupert Grint/ Ron Weasley)
