Yes, this is a thing. Take a look at the quirky and brilliant ‘Burning Man: The Musical’.

Burning Man is somewhat of a cultural sensation, marked in every adolescent to twenty-something’s bucket list. Even families visit Black Rock City for the peculiarly immersive art & culture festival. We’ve seen a lot of BM in pop culture, be it T-shirts, survival guides, fan pages, you get the drift. What we didn’t expect, was this quirky Burning Man musical.

Brainchild of Matt Werner, 31, a tech writer for Google who is about to go to the annual Black Rock City event for the first time, ‘Burning Man: The Musical’ is (for now) a five minute long musical feature on YouTube.

This musical essentially shows the feud between techies and hippies on the Playa. Watch it below.
