Here’s a list of food festivals dedicated to pizza and only pizza. What more do you want in life?

 

1.London Pizza Festival

With beer, wine, burger and even kebab festivals, it’s finally pizza’s time to shine. London’s new Pizza Festival is every foodie’s dream come true. This festival is no ordinary pizza tasting. In it’s first edition, five of UK’s top “pizza artisans”  battled it out to be crowned the crowd’s favourite. The pizzas were of the perfect wood-fired, thin-crusted variety, and were accompanied by a selection of Italian wines, negronies, and even Beavertown Brewery craft beers to wash them down with. London Foods Sud Italia, Yard Sale Pizza, Made of Dough, Bertha’s of Bristol and Manchester’s Honest Crust dished up some heavenly pizzas, and vying for the title of the best pizza artisan. Aside from these, Francesco and Salvatore Salvo from Napoli’s own Pizzeria Salvo will be making their truly yummy Neapolitan pizzas. You’re definitely going to want a slice of this fun.

2. Chicago Pizza Festival

Nothing can compare to the Windy city’s love affair with deep dish pizza. So it comes as no surprise, that Chicago happily hosts a massive pizza festival every year. Delicious and experimental gourmet pizzas are the main entre’ at the event, while sides include fantastic music from an array of genres. Arts and crafts vendors are also featured, with all their quirky collectibles on display. The event also plays host to Chicagoland’s Best Pizza Contest, where local pizza establishments can submit two slices of their pizzas to compete for pizza awards. Time to move to Chi-town now!

3. World’s Largest Pizza Festival

Beverly Hills’ own pizza festival was attended by celebrities, pro-athletes, major influencers and hundreds of models and was hosted by Steve Aoki! This luxurious pizza party was held at a beautiful 9 acre mansion featuring performances by Tyga and 2 Chainz while raising money for a good cause. The best part? Pizza slip’n’slides and pizza floats to accompany the mansion’s majestic pool!

4. Napoli Pizza Village

Italy hosts the world’s best and most significant pizza festival, at the birthplace of Pizza – Naples. At the Napoli Pizza Village you can witness some great pizza experts throwing dough, enjoy live music or take part in traditional Italian dances. There is more to this festival than just stuffing yourself with delicious and greasy pies as you can also take a master class on how to make the perfect Italian pizza and be witness to the World Pizza Maker Championship. Pizza makers from all over the world come to impress the audience with their pizza making skills, battling it out for the title of the best pizzaiolo.

5. Long Island Pizza Festival & Bake-Off

The Long Island Pizza Festival & Bake-Off is an annual charity event that takes place on Long Island, New York where the area’s best pizzerias gather to compete in an online voting contest. The finalists are then selected to take part in a Bake-Off which takes place at the during the festival held during USA’s national pizza month of October. The Long Island Pizza Festival has been featured on FoodNetwork TV’s “All American Festivals,” written up in The New York Times, spotlighted on local TV stations including News 12 and Long Island News Tonight.The Long Island Pizza Festival is also recognized by the World Pizza Champions. A winner from the local Long Island competition is invited to tour with the Team in larger pizza competitions which have included the World Pizza Championships, an international pizza competition held in Salsomaggiore, Italy. The Long Island Pizza Contest and Festival raises funds to help feed the hungry. A portion of the proceeds go to Long Island Cares and Island Harvest, non-profit food organizations based on Long Island, NY.

 

6. LA Pizza Festival

The pizza festival is a series of special events in 15 states from NY to Chicago to LA bringing the best pizza makers together for a celebration of Pizza.  The festival features several competitions to pick the best pizza in each city.
