Berlin’s famous HYTE invades The Big Apple once again for two days of some furious, unadulterated, thumping techno.

Techno has always been thriving in New York and it only seems to be getting better with the very unique Berlin based global event series; HYTE, returning to New York for the third time. New York has been hooked ever since the city got its first taste of the HYTE experience at the picturesque Governor’s Island in 2013. And now, after two years, HYTE is back with a mightier lineup with two full days (and nights) of techno heaven at a secret location in Brooklyn.

A global experience

After a successful Ibiza debut at the super-club, Amnesia last year, and hosting a number of sensational parties in Chile, Berlin, Barcelona, and Amsterdam, along with up coming parties in Italy, Croatia, and Beirut;  HYTE has established itself as a premier global partying experience. Although  HYTE NYC might be HYTE’s only stop in North America this year it’s going to be an unforgettable experience for all the techno junkies out there.

Party all day and all night

It’s a known fact that New York doesn’t sleep, and what’s better is that a music festival is finally taking full advantage of this. HYTE starts early in the afternoon and runs all night! The party starts during the day at an outdoor venue in Brooklyn; which is the perfect setting to enjoy New York’s lush summer weather. As the sun goes down all the action moves to a basement + warehouse combination, which is perfectly suited for a shift in the scene to harder, darker music. In addition to an already fantastic event, the basement will include a special speakeasy themed bar.

Can’t make it to Berghain this year? No problem. For the first time ever in North America, Dettmann and Klock will be joining forces for their highly coveted back to back sets that have rocked clubs like Berghain and Space Ibiza, and festivals like Awakenings in Europe.

The afterparty at Output

Although HYTE has kept the afterparty lineup at Output in Brooklyn a secret, you can rest assured that it will be nothing short of spectacular. For those unfamiliar with New York’s nightlife, Output is a multi-room club that is an audiophile’s dream come true and the quintessential venue to witness sets by some of the best DJs in the world. The Funktion One sound-system in there will shake your soul and rattle your bones.

A loaded lineup

HYTE has never disappointed with its lineup. Some of the acts on this year’s lineup are German Techno Heavyweights Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, and Loco Dice,  Four time Grammy nominated artist, Kenny Dope, NYC veteran, Danny Tenaglia, and Sci + Tec’s founder, Dubfire. To keep the party going with some wicked sound many of the artists on the lineup will be playing sets both during the day and at night.
