The international music channel announces brand new festival, spreads local talent awareness.
Get ready to experience the best of our homegrown brilliance as VH1 curates a special festival cum awards ceremony spread across 6 cities in order to promote top notch Indian talent – musicians, DJ’s – you name it!
Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata,Pune & Hyderabad will stage this massive extravaganza – laid out over two weekends. The festival will also stage an Awards ceremony on it’s conclusion. This is just about what we need in a country which is arguably plagued by international preferences which, as a result, causes a lot of decent local talent to go unnoticed.
The current billing for the festival includes a wide spectrum of artists – Indus Creed, Midival Punditz, Dualist Inquiry, Arjun Vagale, Sound Avtar, Parikrama, Lost Stories, Bombay Bassment, Nucleya & Soulmate & many more acts still stand unannounced.
The first weekend of the festival will be held from the 2nd of May – 3rd. And the second section is spread out over 3 days between 8th – 11th May.
